On July 23rd, 2009, T-16 platoon # 3 was dispatched 2nd due on a house fire at 2205 Minnesota Avenue S.E. T-16 utilized saws to force entry ro rear gate and raised 24' and 30' ladders, cut utlities and used other misc. tools in assisting units extinguish a small fire in the basement. |

On July 15th, 2009, E-32 and T-16 were dispatched first due for a car into a garage and both on fire. E-32 arrived to find just that and quickly put a knock down on both utilizing 200' 3", 400' 1 1/2". T-16 assisted E-32 with hooks and also raised 1-16', 1-24' and the aerial to check adjacent house's roof. Car and garage were a total loss. |

On Tuesday, July 14th, 2009, E-32 and T-16 platoon # 2 were dispatched to and apartment fire at 2727 Jasper Street S.E.. E-32 pulled a crosslay and assisted E-8 with extinguishment. T-16 utlized 1-16', 1-24' and 1-35' ladder plus misc tools to vent building. T-16 also controlled utilities and performed salvage and overhaul. |

On Saturday July 11th, E-32 and T-16, platoon #3 were dispatched first due to an apartment fire at 2412 Elvans Road S.E. Both units arrived to find smoke showing from side A of a 3 story apartment building. E-32 extinguished a fire in the basement storage room utilizing 800' of 3" and 400' of 1 1/2" hose, scbas and misc. tools. T-16 assisted E-32 with entry, raised aerial ladder, 1-24', 1-30' ladder and opened roof to vent and also vented , overhauled and controlled utilities in room of origin |

On Wednesday July 8th, 2009, E-32 and T-16 were dispatched to a house fire at 1655 U Street S.E. E-15 arrived to find heavy smoke showing and E-32 (3rd due) arrived and picked up E-15 layout. E-32 pulled a 400' 1 1/2" line and assisted E-15 with extinguishment on the 1st and 2nd floors. T-16 arrived and raised 2 16', 1-24', 1-30' ladders and the aerial, opened the roof, cut off utilities, vented overhauled and used many misc. tools.
