On Tuesday July 7th , 2009, E-32 and T-16 platoon # 2 was dispatched to a house fire at 133 Xenia Street S.E.. E-33 arrived to find fire showing and E-32 picked up their line and backed up E-33 on the first floor with fire in the kitchen and dining room areas. T-16(2nd due) threw ladders to side C , checked basement, cut utilities, and assisted with pulling ceilings on the 1st floor and also with overhaul. |

On Sunday, July 5th, at 01:38 hours, platoon # 4 was dispatched to an apartment fire at 4252 7th Street S.E.. E-32(3rd due) picked up E-33 line and backed them up in the fire apartment. T-16 raised the aerial and 30' ladder and using miscelaneous tools assisted in venting and overhaul. |

On Monday, June 29th, 2009 E-32 and T-16 platoon # 3 were dispatched to a report of a house fire in the rear of 2652 Martin Luther King Jr Avenue. E-25 arrived to find a vacant house fire at the correct address of 2667 Dunbar Road. E-32 (2nd due) laid 400' of 3" and 200' of 1 1/2" hose and assisted E-25 with extinguishment. T-16 was use to check for extension as the fire was quickly contained. |

On February 22nd , 2009, at 0107 hours Engine 32, Truck 16 were dispatched 1st due on the box to an apartment fire with people trapped at 3407 Stanton Road. Engine 32 and Truck 16 just happened to be 2 blocks away at Stanton Road and Alabama Avenue returning from another box alarm. Engine 32 and Truck 16 arrived simultaneously to find smoke showing on the top floor of a 3 story apartment building with one female on the ground having jumped from that apartment. Engine 32 pulled a 400' 1 1/2" line and entered through the apartment door Truck 16 had forced open and extinguished the fire. While this was going on the remainder of Truck 16's crew were busy raising the 24', 30' and 35' ladders to side A and cutting off utilities. Ambulance 32 was attending to the patient with the assistance of Truck 16's and Rescue Squad 3's technicians while the technician from Engine 32 was supplying O2 to a puppy found in the apartment. The box was then held to 1 & 1.
