Sunday house fire on #3 platoon |

On Sunday, April 25th 20010, # 3 responded to house fire at 2109 34th Street S.E. E-32 and T-16 were both first due and as they were turning the corner noticed neighbors pointing to a house across the street. The two units arrived to find smoke showing and a fire on the first floor kitchen area. As the engine went to work stretching a line and quickly extinguishing the fire the truck crew was busy throwing multiple ladders, searching the residence, pulling walls and ceilings and cutting utilities. The box was soon reduced to one and one for overhaul.
