Firefighter Wimbish continues to improve and has been moved from the Intensive Care Unit to a private room. The Women's Advisory Committee is coordinating a blood drive on Thursday, February 19th from 0800 hrs to 1800 hrs, and Friday, February 20th from 0800 hrs to 1600 hrs, at the Washington Hospital Center Blood Center, 110 Irving St NW. You can call 202-877-7328 to schedule an appointment to donate on another date or time. We are also still looking for Day Off Trades for Firefighter Wimbish if you can help with a trade call or stop by Engine 32 or you can email Captain Hawkins at
